1. Put a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall.
2. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Measure in the evening, when feet are slightly bigger.
3. Mark the tip of your longest toe.
4. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
5. Do both feet and use the longer one.

• For open sandals with ankle straps, your normal size usually works.
• For mules and slides, a snug fit stops the shoe slipping.
